Our Story

Tourism in our DNA.

Coming from one of the largest ski resorts in Europe, we have been living and breathing tourism since day one.

2016

Foundation

Kristian Paasila, Daniel Medina found Inside Labs AG. The INSIDE LAAX app is launched for the ski resort Flims Laax Falera.

2017

Validation

The INSIDE LAAX App reaches the Top 10 in the Swiss App Store — ahead of Airbnb. We win Gold at Best of Swiss Apps for Design and Business, and a few other awards.

2018–19

Independence

A management buyout makes Inside Labs completely team-owned. We win the MILESTONE Award for Innovation and start building the Omni Suite as Software as a Service product with the goal to bring what worked at Flims Laax Falera to other destinations. Our first client outside Laax is the iconic destination of Zermatt. We build and launch the Matterhorn App.

2020-2023

Growth

Together with Lenzerheide we launch the Bike Kingdom App and are rewarded with the Swiss Marketing Trophy and the Swiss Mountain Award. With Surselva Tourism and Engadin St. Moritz two new Swiss destinations start working with the Omni Suite.

2023 – Today

Expansion

Inside Labs grows to a team of over 20 experts, strengthening capabilities across customer success, marketing, sales, and building strategic partnerships with leading e-commerce providers. Flagship collaborations with Davos and Arosa Lenzerheide solidify our position as a leading customer engagement platform for ski resorts and destinations in Switzerland. At the same time, we expand internationally — Alpinco (Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Oppdal) and the Austrian resort Golm join the Omni Suite ecosystem, marking an important step in our global growth journey.
