With the promotion of the "Software for digital ecosystems - from Graubünden for tourism" project, canton Graubünden supports the collaborative venture between Inside Labs & SPOT Werbung. The project aims to deliver holistic solutions from Graubünden for digital ecosystems within tourism by linking the Omni Suite system by Inside Labs and the Ferienshop system by SPOT Werbung. The supportive contribution from the canton amounts to a maximum of CHF 970,000.
World-class software from Graubünden for tourism
The two software providers are already among the leading digital companies within the tourism industry. Both offer software solutions that make it easy for destinations and tourism service providers to digitally accompany their guests before, during and after their stay at a location. As a digital experience platform, Omni Suite enables destinations to communicate with their guests in a data-driven way and create meaningful digital guest experiences. SPOT Werbungs Ferienshop is a tourism specific, sophisticated one-stop-shop for online booking of hotels, activities, lift tickets and more.
The two systems have now been made compatible with one another and will continue to be further developed allowing destinations to soon be able to use the advantages of both platforms in harmony. The clever linking of smart data, e-commerce and CRM will enable destinations to adapt the customer experience of their guests in a personalized way and offer digital experiences on the same level as those of major international players such as Airbnb or Booking.com. The project is budgeted at around CHF 3.23 million. The common goal is clear: The SaaS solution is aimed to become a leading software platform for data-based management of tourism ecosystems on the international market as well.
Graubünden grows strong as a tech location
With this funding decision, the canton is supporting the strengthening of the attractiveness of Graubünden as a tech location, creating additional jobs as well as securing existing jobs within the canton. As innovative digital companies, Inside Labs and SPOT Werbung are already committed to promoting Graubünden as a location for digitalization. There is great interest in technology "Made in Graubünden". "The common goal is to expand our customer portfolio with more destinations from Switzerland and abroad," says Werner Pircher, Founder of SPOT Werbung. The planned expansion of both companies is intended to further develop activities, attract new tech talent for upcoming projects and generate additional value in the canton of Graubünden.
